About Marilyn Nelson
Marilyn Nelson Swartwood is a CVYT/RYT-500 instructor with teaching certifications in VariYoga and Yin Yoga. She finds teaching a joy and an honor as she continues to explore the many paths of yoga.
She shares a practice that is meditative and breath-centered, focusing on finding stillness through surrender during yin practices, and alignment principles with her flow practices. Marilyn has been teaching yoga since 2010. She trained in VariYoga at AYC with Andrea Fournet and Bryan Fowler, and Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts in Whistler, Canada.
She enjoys daily hikes in the woods with her two Australian Shepherds. She and her husband Larry are blessed with three beautiful granddaughters who light their lives.
