My yoga journey began over 20 years ago and has been truly transformational! It has become a part of my life, bringing balance to all aspects – which is especially useful as a busy mom of 2 children! As a teacher, my breath-based approach to mindfulness and movement aims to create revitalized and balanced energy while cultivating an ease, release, and freedom in both the physical and emotional bodies. This nurturing practice empowers students to feel ever-growing in their intentions, ever-connected to their intuition, and ever-present in the moment.
As an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with Yoga Alliance, I have been teaching continuously since receiving my 200-hour certification in 2010 from the Kirpalu-influenced program at the Comfort Zone Center for Whole Self Healing under the direction of Ed Harrold and Rudy Pierce. I am also a certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor for Conscious Birthing studying with internationally-renowned teacher Janice Clarfield, a Certified VaihAyasa Aerial Yoga Instructor, and have completed Foundations of Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Training with Little Flower Yoga, along with Mindfulness Fundamentals and Mindfulness Educator Essentials through Mindful Schools.
