About Pranam Yoga Shala
The HEART of Pranam is our by-donation, breath-centered, healing-based yoga studio. We offer daily classes, teacher certifications, workshops, retreats, and a plethora of other amazing opportunities to get your heart healed and going strong. We want to serve you up some good, quality yoga instruction in a homey setting, nurtured and warmed by your faithful servants, our family of teachers and staff, who welcome you with open arms into our space. Our emphasis lies in experience and growth on the mat, the cushion, the massage table, in circle, and in community. Transformation and relief from suffering arise when we do our deep soul-work, and we aim to provide such opportunities for growth through open body, mind, breath, trust, and right intention.
The SOUL of Pranam lies in our Seva program. Our mission is to make yoga and mindfulness available to everyone, and create a circle of giving that dissolves barriers and unites people.
Seva means selfless service in the Sanskrit language. Our Seva project is a hub for making yoga and healing available to everyone, regardless of any barriers. What more perfect platform for selflessly giving than a yoga center, filled with loving people dedicated to working on themselves, while giving back and supporting others and the Earth? In addition to supporting donation-based yoga, we partner with community leaders and other non-profits, in hopes of relieving some suffering. We are committed to helping to resettle refugees here in our community, we feed large groups of homeless and people in rehab, we provide free yoga to first responders, among other projects. We always need help from volunteers to help us keep with all of our projects, and we're open to any projects you might see as a good fit for our organization!
