About Katherine Teacher
Kat is a Midwest native, new to the Bay Area. While living in Chicago, she began her practice as a way to escape from the chaos of city life. She believes deeply in the power of yoga as a tool for both inner and outer health. Kat received her teaching certification in Bali Indonesia and has since taught yoga with the intention of helping students access the myriad health benefits of yoga. Her classes are generally vinyasa flow style, with an emphasis on mindfulness and strength. As a personal trainer, she also loves to teach yoga as functional flexibility and mobility for athletes of all levels.
