About Downward Dog Yoga
In 2009 Downward Dog Yoga opened on Highway 6 in Coralville.
In 2014 Downward Dog Yoga became a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance. In October 2018 Downward Dog Yoga moved to our current location on 5th Street in Coralville.
Kelli Slocum started teaching yoga in 1998. With a background in ballet and dance, she has been teaching for over 35 years. In 2007, Kelli completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Baron Baptiste. In 2009, Kelli opened Downward Dog Yoga. Kelli enjoys attending Yoga workshops regularly, taking classes from a wide variety of International presenters, including Baron Baptiste, Dana Trixie Flynn, Seane Corn, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Kino MacGregor, Kathryn Budig and Ana Forrest. Most recently, she attended Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA and completed a Teacher Training program with Dana Trixie Flynn at Laughing Lotus Yoga Centre in New York City. Kelli is also an International Yoga Teacher with Fit Bodies, Inc. Along with Hannah, Kelli leads the Downward Dog Teacher Training program.
